Hello, and a very warm welcome to International Angles!

The idea behind this blog is simple – we are a student collective dedicated to exploring all things international. Whether that’s politics, languages, economics, culture, or something else entirely, we are all about celebrating the perspectives of students across the world. We hope for this to become a community that fosters curiosity and encourages conversations beyond borders, by providing accessible and thought-provoking posts about the forces that shape the world as we know it.

As our world becomes evermore interconnected, we are faced with new opportunities and challenges which create an increasingly complex web of events, ideas, and changes that affect us all. We aim to explore a wide range of topics, offering students a space to articulate their thoughts and to explore their unique interests in the world of global affairs and politics. By providing engaging posts that break down international developments both past and present, we hope you will join us in expanding our knowledge of the world as we know it, and to open your mind to the world as it could be.

While many students are accustomed to writing lengthy essays full of references, we plan to share bite-sized posts backed up by research. We recognise the importance of students’ perspectives on international events and trends, and we hope to offer a wide variety of content ranging from interviews with academics to opinion based articles, and much more. We are always open to feedback and suggestions, so please do get in touch and share your ideas with us about future content topics and formats.

Here at International Angles, we encourage discussions and engagement about the global phenomena that matter to you. We would love to hear your perspectives and ideas and we invite you to join us as we explore all things international.

If you are a student who is interested in becoming a regular or guest contributor, we would love to hear from you! Please get in touch with us at internationalanglesblog@gmail.com
